Did you know that the average possession time for a pro Soccer player is 30-90 seconds over the whole course of a game?!
What does this mean? Athletes need to be more aware of their components of fitness and what they do off of the ball in order to give them an advantage when they get on the ball.
An example of this is an Athlete who has exceptional Cardiovascular Endurance will be able to cover more ground in order to get into better positions to gain possession of the ball, Especially at the end of the game where the opposition players fatigue and slow down.

Injuries can either make a career or break a career, I have been there!
At 17 years old Tearing my Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) and rupturing my Meniscus, it was one of the hardest times of my career but one in which i successfully came back from.
Reflecting back now, the only thing i would've done differently was to get more help. Coming back from injuries are not just about rehabilitation and rest, but also the psychological side!
I remember hearing the statistic of only 33% of Soccer players end up coming back and playing after an ACL injury. And the majority of those success stories are players at professional clubs.
With me not playing at a professional club, I used this as motivation to get back stronger and better than ever and continue playing. Other players might see this statistic and think negatively, which is understandable.
